Homestead Harbor
Homestead Harbor was birthed from a vision set from the altars during a church service at Homestead. The Lord revealed to the Pastor, He would turn these graves into gardens and bring these dry bones to life as this building - now the harbor - had been unused for years. In a moment of despair, the enlightened the Pastor to the promise of life again, and the people gathered around and witnessed the Lord’s amazing provision during this journey of faith. The Lord has truly stretched the budget and made all things new. Our vision it to provide a safe place for the youth of the community to hear the Good News of Jesus and have a safe place for recreation as well. We have video gaming, basketball, and other great things to do at the Harbor. With a separate worship space, we can get real with a God who loves them and wants them to know how important they are to Him. From the book of Isaiah 58:11 we hold onto this word: “The Lord will guide you continually, giving you water when you are dry and restoring your strength. You will be like a well watered garden, like an ever flowing spring.” That is our desire for the youth of our community.
